On October 10, 2007, Satish Gupta, President of SB International Inc. was the recipient of the 2007 GDAACC Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Annual Awards Banquet. For the past 15 years, the GDAACC has recognized the successes of many individuals and community leaders who have done phenomenal work locally as well as internationally. Dallas City Mayor Tom Leppert recognized the individual recipients.

On September 11, 2007, the Greater Dallas Chamber hosted the International Business Achievement Awards. SB International Inc. was the proud Corporate Award Winner from the finalists selected in its category. The company was presented with a Certificate of Recognition for expanding the Greater Dallas area’s economy through success in international business and through community service. The event featured a vibrant “fireside chat” on the subject “DFW: Pioneering Global Success.” Lee, Cullum, Host of the series CEO, KERA radio was the moderator of this discussion. The Panelist speakers were Mr. Stanley Rabin, Chairman of the Board of Commercial Metals Company, Mr. Gabriel Barbier-Mueller, Founder & CEO of Harwood International and Mr. Satish Gupta, Founder & CEO of SB International, Inc. – all Final Award Recipients of the International Business Achievement Awards.

Satish Gupta, President of SB International Inc. was honored as a finalist in the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards, for the Texas region. The prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year awards began in 1986 as a way to recognize and honor the best in the business world.

For the fifth consecutive year, SB International Inc. was recognized among the area’s top 100 fastest growing private businesses. For the year 2008, SB International, Inc. was honored amongst the top 10! The Dallas 100 is conducted by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship and the Dallas Business Journal. It is a tribute to the vitality and entrepreneurial spirit of the business community in North Texas.
Entrepreneur of the Year Award:
In October 2003, Satish Gupta, President of SB International Inc. was recognized by the Greater Dallas Indo-American Chamber of Commerce as the “Entrepreneur of the Year.”
Highest Export Customer:
In April 1997, at the All India Customers Meet, SB International Inc. was awarded by the Steel Authority of India Ltd., Salem Steel Plant, as the customer with the highest export off take.

In September 1994, SB International Inc. was awarded the
distinction of being among the largest exporters in the Dallas area
by the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, International Trade
Department.
