The Primary Care Clinic of North Texas: view picture
The Company financially supports the Primary Care Clinic of North Texas, a nonprofit healthcare facility providing medical care to uninsured adults in the Dallas metroplex since 2003. Over 7,000 people were served in 2006.
DSB International Public School: view picture
Satish and Yasmin Gupta inaugurated the opening day celebrations of DSB International Public School, on August 15, 2007. SB International Inc. was a key sponsor in the construction of this educational facility, located in the foothills of the Himalayas, in Haridwar, India. This community investment project involved strong partnership with a non-profit organization working together to bring the benefits of higher education to underserved people in this community.
DFW Indian Cultural Society: view picture
The Company has been a lead sponsor in the various cultural activities of this organization, whose mission is to organize a variety of educational and socio-cultural programs in the community. Under the leadership of Satish Gupta, President of SB International, Inc., this organization hosted in 2006, the first of its kind in the area, the Diwali Mela. Adults and children flocked into the Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, to enjoy an evening of vibrant cultural programs. The event was a phenomenal success attracting over 36,000 people. The second Annual Diwali Mela was recently organized in November 2007 at the Texas Stadium, with over 55,000 people in attendance.
The United Way: view picture
The United Way is a national network of more than 1,300 locally governed organizations that work to create lasting positive changes in communities and peoples lives. The Company financially supports the activities of the local chapter. Satish Gupta, President of SB, in recognition of the deep commitment to service, is a member of United Way’s Tocqueville Society.
The DragonFlies, Irving Soccer Association: view picture
SB International supports need based local sports teams. In an effort to promote self esteem, talent and sportsmanship among these children, the Company has sponsored the DragonFlies, a local team in the Irving Soccer Association. Over time, some of the players from this team have been recruited by select youth soccer teams to continue on into more competitive soccer leagues. The Company is proud to be a sponsor of this all-girls soccer team.
Chinmaya Mission of Dallas:
Since the past decade, the company has been an active supporter in the fund raising efforts of this non-profit organization. Its mission is to provide children with the practical means for spiritual growth, enabling them to become positive contributors to society.
India House, Houston, Texas:
The Company has contributed to the efforts of this non-profit organization. The construction of a local community center is underway.
Currently, the company is exploring medical related projects in Dallas and India in an effort to improve access to quality health care for those experiencing financial hardship.
