SB International’s Pipe & Tubing Division announced the expansion of its supply chain function in Houston, Texas in 2008. With the company’s strong commitment to quality and service, this expansion is geared toward fortification of quality management practices and enhancement of our processing and tubular capabilities for the domestic market. The Houston team brings years of mill production and quality knowledge, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the inspection process and streamlined product movement in Houston. We have positioned ourselves to offer customers superior products from the global steel markets and customized solutions to meet the demands of the energy industry.
SB International Inc. has developed longstanding relationships with several prominent Mills in China and India for OCTG and Line Pipe products for the North American Market. We work extensively with these mills on continuous quality improvement and developing higher end products to ensure that the products are manufactured according to the most recognized International Standards. Our diverse network of steel mill affiliations has enabled us to offer a complete range of OCTG and Line Pipe products. We are presently evaluating several joint venture projects and applications used by major oil and gas production and transmission companies in the region. Future plans to increase our portfolio of products and services include the development of a domestic seamless pipe processing facility with installation of pipe testing, upsetting and heat treatment equipment, multiple threading lines, as well as the addition of seamless piercing and seamless pipe manufacturing capabilities.
