In August 2007, SB International Inc. jointly with WSP Pipe LLC acquired a property to set up a Seamless Pipe Processing Plant in Harris County, Houston, Texas. The 339,570 square foot facility is located on 35 acres of land in the Greens Port Industrial Park area of Harris County, Houston, Texas. Greens Bayou crosses to the north and east, in close proximity to the Houston Ship Channel. The property has an abundance of storage space, railcar, truck and barge loading capabilities. Rail service is also available to the property.
Houston ranks first in the nation in petroleum refining, and is typically known as the world’s petroleum refining capital. Houston is also the center of a continually expanding network of petroleum product pipelines, which connects some 200 chemical plants and refineries. Major petroleum companies located within the Houston area include Exxon-Mobil, Shell Oil, Chevron-Phillips, and British Petroleum- Amoco.
